This is my poster that I made using adobe Photoshop. I enjoyed making that poster because I was familiar with Photoshop and I knew most of the tools. I devoloped new skills from this project such as "magic crop tool" I also found a new website called " DaFont" http://www.dafont.com/

The problem I faced was the new computers because I was familiar with the old computers but the new ones were hard to get used to. To resolve it I went to the college library and use the old computers.

My assignment brief was to create a unique project digital art based tackling the social issue and i've chosen animal rights. The reason why I chose animal rights is because it was an important topic because we are loosing wild life and I wanted to show awareness of animal rights. This topic I've done before and I was familiar with it. I have researched on the following
products which are tested on animals.
What types of animals are tested because I had a guess that they use small animals such as cats, dogs and rats.

This website helped me with my research by finding out the following: what type of animals are used for testing (rats, rabbits, dogs and cats) what products are using animals for, (Lynx-cosmetics, medicines, make up and science experiments) how they test on animals.( injecting animals spraying on them and torturing them.)

quotes were the most helpful part especially the one I have on my evaluation because the words "Their cries, your voice." makes me think that we humans can express our feelings to our parents or friends but animals can't talk so the can't express their feelings.

•Dan Witz is my inspiration artist. His quotes on his poster inspired me to create a poster because it sympathises us so we think before we abuse or test on animals. The main point the inspired me that was the powerful image because his background of poster is plain white but he adds animal paws or small image to show that they need our help.
. 
For this project my primary research was to take images on my own and  I also created a survey using survey monkey to record my findings. The majority of people have chosen to stop animal testing which is the same  message that I am showing in my poster. secondary research was to take images from the internet and find useful information. The most useful was my primary research because I had to take pictures which was easier than finding information from the internet.

This picture inspired me to make my poster because it makes people feel sympathy for the animals which are being abused.

This is the poster that I have created. I used Adobe Photoshop to create the poster. The tools I used were cropping tool, free transformation, new layers and image sharpness. The tool that took time to create my poster was cropping tool because I had to zoom in to each part and it took me about 2 lessons to finish it. I took the pictures which were the dog and lynx body spray.The colours I chose were men to replicate my artist Dan Witz. I had a plain background of a science lab and I also had my animal which was blending in my background but to make it unique I added the anti sign in red which shows do not abuse or test on animals and I was happy about it because it matched my message of awareness.  I made my poster to stop animal testing because animals should have the same right as humans.

The pictures I took for this project were pictures of body spray and other products which were tested on animals. I took about twenty pictures and I had to choose the best picture for my poster. I chose Lynx body spray because I researched about it and found that they test Lynx on animals.

Lynx test their products on animals in some countries because of the law, however it is against their work ethics to do so and they try and persuade their authority to change their law. From this project I have more knowledge on animal testing than before but sadly I didn't learn any new skills but it did improve my Photoshop skills.
All of my images and research are copyright free and I have referenced it on different blogs.
When I started doing this assignment I made a schedule for this whole assignment and it helped me so I didn't have any problems with time management but it got me more stressed because I had to work every week.
The problems I encountered were the location wasn't a good place took take pictures and I used my phone to photgraph the images and to resolve that next time I will go to a shop where people sell cosmetic products and I will take pictures there and also next time I will use a camera
Next time I will enlarge the images and add some information on it because that's what my viewers told me to improve on. I totally agree what my class members said and I will improve on it.

My presentation went alright, I struggled but I manage to get it done. I put things like what I choose and wrote how I made my poster, I was nervous but luckily I got it done.
The Demographic audience are everyone because it's a awareness to every human being. It leads to any age mainly teens to elders.

I am happy with my final piece and I will improve on it if I do it again.

Dan was born in New York and made his project in East London he came to study and later made hsi project called "empty the cages."

I liked th way how he made chicken claws and the quotes that say things which makes us sympothise for the animals. That inspired me to make a picture of a dog in a science lab having a anti sign at the top saying "animal testing"

My message is that they should ban animal abuse and animal testing.

The picture that really inspired me was picture of a cat with a humans face, the image message was to make people sympathise and thinking before abusing their pets.

I researchd on products that been tested on animals and I found lynx is being tested on animals and I put a picture of lynx next to my poster.

I have taken picture of body sprays and aftershave for my animal testing project. I have used one of the image for my poster and the rest was used for research. The main purpose was that to tell others what are used on animals and it should be stopped.

 I have manage to collect the data and the reason why I put the survey on because I wanted to see people's review on animal abuse/testing. Everyone on my data were against animal testing.

I have chosen this picture because it is interesting because KFC has been on strike before for animal cruelty. This image is for KFC lovers to show them that what they do to chickens and how are they made. I like this image because it put people of chicken which is known as a animal.

Proposal personal project

Proposal for my poster

My chosen theme is animal Rights. I have chosen this because I have pet myself which is a cat and I kind of feel sorry for animals being harmed. Animals are part of our planet and they should be treated like human beings. Animal rights is giving rights to animals same as human beings. Animals are so weak that they can get harm in anyway so we should be careful with them and treat them as we do to our surroundings by taking care of them by giving them a good home and the right food. On RSPCA we are told animals are being killed, harmed and tested on for makeup and science products, we need to take action towards animal rights. I am against killing and harming animals. What if we humans were treated badly by animals and we were being killed or tested on, how will we feel?

I want to make a poster promoting animal rights and saving the animals that are being killed, harmed and being tested on. I will use Adobe Photoshop CS6 to make my poster and I will make the poster in a dark colour because it will show an animal being abused and I also will add an extra information showing that it is not right to abuse animals. My second idea is like a collage with dead animal on the left and women’s perfume on the right to show what they get from killing animals and which is more important to them. I am going to get my pictures from Stonebridge farm, google images and RSPCA website. I am also going to take pictures of men’s aftershave and women’s perfume to add on my poster.  I will put a message on and I am not sure because I am still researching

   

The image I have chosen has a humans hand with animals paws and it is covered with blood. This make me feel sympathy for the animals. The image has different meanings which gets you thinking about what is the image trying to say. To me it looks like the image is telling us to stop abusing animals, testing and harming.

I will look on RSPCA, animal charity, animal testing websites to find my research. I will take interviews from people in the class. I will keep an eye on my schedule and it will remind me what to do.. My final piece will be on Photoshop and I will take a picture of my poster outside and attach it to a wall because it will spread the message to other people and I will hand the poster in. The poster format will be A3 paper.

animals rights tells us that somethings we do to animals are wrong because animals have the same as human rights. According to internet research that animals are decreasing such as tigers ect. There are so many charity against animal testing and making animal right same as human rights we know this because animal are being used for testing products for example perfume, medicine, make up and science products. The type of animals frequently used are rabbits. dogs and cats.

mostly are used rats, rabbit, guinea pigs , cats and dogs.
What is animal testing?
Animal testing is when scientist force force to inject animals and use them to test products on. The reason why they do this because they want to test products such as medicine, perfumes and make up. This makes the animal suffer and then the animal dies. We already are low on tigers and other extinct animals. There are so many charity around supporting animals and telling people to adopt animals.
